Intellectualization Mondays start in four days


The first installment of Intellectualization Mondays starts on Nov. 1 at Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center. Six short-film submissions to the Fort Myers Film Festival, ranging from the good to the bad to the ugly, will be shown, celebrity judges will offer their critiques and then audiences can chime in with their reactions. The night will also include live music, comedy and drinks, with admission just $2.

* Nov. 1, 2010: 7 pm.-9 p.m. with musical guest Wendy Renee, special celebrity guest host Tammy Hall, the downtown diva and star of “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” Stephanie Davis and ABC's Chad Oliver. Cohosted by Daniel Linehan and evening band led by Elijah Green. Sponsored by Bennett's Fresh Roast, the official coffee of the Fort Myers Film Festival.

The Fort Myers Film Festival will be held March 24-27, 2011 at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, with an opening night gala for V.I.P. guests from the city with filmmakers and cineasts alike Wednesday, March 23 and a closing night black tie award ceremony dinner gala at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre with special host Chad Oliver March 27, 2011 celebrating all local filmmakers.. The Fort Myers Film Festival is an intelligent independent filmmaker's preferred event to create, unite and showcase the finest artistic cinematic works.
