Keeper of the Earth premiered Monday to a packed house at the Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center in downtown Fort Myers and ignited a spirited debate over the enigmatic film's myriad meanings. Present to participate in a question-and-answer session after the film's conclusion were an assortment of members of the cast and crew, including writer/director Tim Ritter, cinematographer/composer Pat Mitchell, sound man Ryan Sharp and stars Carl Bleich, Cristela Guerra and Orenthial Brown, visiting all the way from Miami. The premier was part of the Intellectualization Monday series, showcasing short film submissions to the Fort Myers Film Festival every Monday night. The festival will take place at Sidney and Berne from March 24-27.
Keeper of the Earth: Young Adam's summer working the fields is almost over; now with the help of old friends G and Nathan, he has to decide what to do with the rest of his life. Written and directed by Tim Ritter, starring Carl Bleich, Tony Berry, Orenthial Brown, Stuart Alexander, Cristela Guerra and A.J. Collins.
