315 Films' latest short film Dawn will premiere Monday, Feb. 27, at the Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center in downtown Fort Myers. The showing will be part of the Fort Myers Film Festival's Intellectualization Monday series and be shown with a small selection of other festival submissions. The event will start at 7 p.m. and include live music, local celebrity judges and drinks. Dawn will be followed by a question-answer session with cast and crew. Admission is $5.
Dawn, which was filmed last fall, was written and directed by Tim Ritter and stars Shawn Genther, Jennifer Keister, Michael Dunsworth and Stuart Alexander. Perry Wilson helped out as cinematographer, and Martin Lemaire handled all sound duties. Dawn follows Terry as he finds himself in a strange place, with some unexpected company waiting to greet him.
