315 Films packs Fort Myers Film Festival

315 Films upped the ante by placing three films into the Fort Myers Film Festival a year after getting two accepted and winning the Top Local Film prize for Shaken. This year, 315 shorts Dawn, Remedy and Crust all received spots in the annual international showcase. The festival will take place later this month at the Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center in downtown Fort Myers. All films will be followed by interview sessions with select cast and crew. Admission is $5.

Dawn, directed by Tim Ritter and starring Shawn Genther, Jennifer Keister, Michael Dunsworth and Stuart Alexander, will be shown as part of a block of short films at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 23. Dawn follows Terry as he finds himself in a strange place, with some unexpected company waiting to greet him.

Remedy, directed by Pat Mitchell and starring Stuart Alexander, Tony Berry, Joanna Horton, Shawn Genther, Mitchell Jacobs, Jenny Marrero and A.J. Collins, will play in the 8:30 p.m. block on Friday, March 23. Remedy follows a special team sent where others cannot go, to complete a mission - and a kill - which they failed once before.

Crust, directed by Perry Wilson and starring Shawn Genther and Laura Nin, will play in a 4 p.m. showcase on Saturday, March 24.
Breakfast takes a strange turn in 315's first short short.
