MoT gets bloody in latest shoot

One small, one-bed motel room. As many as seven castmembers. As many as seven crewmembers. The latest shoot for 315 Films' first feature, Moment of Truth, got a little funky as the crew crammed in to capture a pair of key scenes at the Tropical Palms motel in North Fort Myers. Makeup artist Crystal Gossman got her work in, creating frighteningly real bullet wounds, stitches and puncture wounds. The result was a highly charged pair of scenes that play a pivotal role in the film, which now is reaching the midpoint of filming.

On hand at various times were castmembers Stuart Alexander, Shawn Genther, Michael Dunsworth, Chris Marzella and Tim Gunderman, cinematographer Perry Wilson, sound man Martin Lemaire, makeup artist Gossman, behind-the-scenes director Ashley LaRue, assistants Max Soto and Jackie Gomez and, of course, writer/director Tim Ritter. The crew is now hard at work preparing for its next shoot.

Synopsis: On the run from the mob, Jess seems headed toward a gruesome death. But when he is spared at the last moment, he has to find out one thing: Why? Written and directed by Tim Ritter. Starring Stuart Alexander, Jennifer Keister, Tony Berry, Mitchell Jacobs, Shawn Genther, Michael Dunsworth and Vladimy Bellefleur.
