Shaken premier a hit

Monday saw the premier of Shaken at the Intellectualization Monday at Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center in downtown Fort Myers. The results: Shaken is a success. The situation wasn't completely ideal, as Shaken followed a lavishly produced Holocaust drama, The Desperate. But the audience embraced 315's stylish, ultra-low budget film, with calls for another viewing as well as a sequel (sorry; ain't gonna happen).

The audience was large and intelligent, and the questions and comments - mostly positive - in the post-viewing Q&A reflected this intelligence and sophistication. On hand to answer questions were director/editor Pat Mitchell, writer/star Stuart Alexander, producer/star Tim Ritter, sound man/key grip Ryan Sharp and co-star Marty Wisher.

Look out in the coming days and weeks for video from Monday's big event, as well as the premier of Ritter's Keeper of the Earth at a future Intellectualization Monday.
